i thought since it is so dreary outside today (for those of us on the east coast), that i would post some bright & happy images of the fabulous company confetti system. what they can do with fabric & paper, i will never understand. it is the definition of whimsical!

how much fun would this be! to host a wine and cheese party, have everyone bring a bottle of wine, and cover the labels before you drink, so you can make your own comments right on the bottle! what a fun way to get everyone involved and also to explore some new wine options! {and not just buy them for the cute label, which i must say, is my downfall...you know its yours too, just admit it! he he.}

i don't know if many of you follow wedding blogs too, but i have been a long time fan. (even before my proposal!) i just LOVE the inspiration boards, and the gorgeous pictures. it's beautiful reading about people in love, and inspiring to see all the party ideas. thus why i began reading them before receiving my engagement ring. the party posts are great for even a saturday brunch! so many ideas to run with.

two lovely blogs that i follow are snippet & ink, and the bride's cafe. so imagine my excitement when just the other day the guest blogger on snippet & ink WAS the bride's cafe! and what an amazing post it was!!! {click here to see original post} it was a holiday tablescape, created with blue glasses, and red ranunculus. as well as hurricane votives (something i am obsessed with now that i have purchased them for my wedding!)...but come to find out...the blue glasses she used as vases, we have RIGHT HERE in the shop! so if you are looking for a creative way to use them, besides drinking out of the dear things...vases or candle holders would be perfect! and look no further for them then our lovely shop...hooray!

i was catching up on my daily bright side project emails, when i saw their post from yesterday. complete heaven! a designer on etsy is creating the poms that we know & love and selling them, so we don't have to bother with the crafting ourselves! and let me tell you, these poms are no easy feat! when i tried to make them once there was glue everywhere, and my hands got stuck together. and i consider myself pretty crafty too! ;) but in the future, if i am using these gorgeous poms to decorate a party...i will be ordering from party poms. check out all these different combinations...breathtaking!
