last year i threw a baby shower for my friend erin, (which i have been meaning to post pictures of, once i get around to it!) and, instead of buying 2 liters of soda, i decided to serve boylan's old-fashioned root beer. {shown above as served} not only is this one of erin's favorite drinks, and yes it tasted delicious, but (and you might think im crazy for this! or, that i just have an innate attention for detail, hehe) the packaging of the bottles went with my theme and color palette of the shower...so it worked out perfectly!
ever since i discovered this delightful treat, i insist on serving boylan's sodas at every get together. it automatically adds fun & sense of nostalgia to any party. {and adds to the decor!} check out the boylan website for store locations near you, as it is not sold everywhere, so sometimes can be hard to find.
i mean...just look at this packaging! sends you right back in time to the days when sitting out on your front porch with the family and drinking a refreshing root beer was a highlight of a spring day...ahhhh....
