anyone recognize this? this quote is from Conan O'Brien, during his last Tonight Show appearance. the minute he started his last speech, I grabbed a pen and started jotting down what he said...because it was so honest and inspiring.
this quote is hitting home for me right now...these winter months tend to drag on, {especially this winter! blizzard after blizzard here on the east coast.} and i find myself, as well as my friends, are all in the middle of that lull that happens when you just long for the sunshine.
during these months, one tends to feel like the things they wanted to change or the grand plans they have for their life are not happening as quickly as they would like, or not happening at all for that matter...
and it helps to remind yourself that you cannot calculate life to a tee, and sometimes the best days are the actual journey...so it's best to enjoy the ride.
work hard, be kind...and before you know it...spring!
