we interrupt this program...

I just want to take a minute {away from my usual blogging} to recognize just how amazing the season 3 finale of Mad Men was on Sunday night. Are you guys with me?! I promise I won't always be talking entertainment on this blog, but having worked in that industry for so long it still has a special place in my heart, and so does this show!!! Not only are the costumes and sets visually stimulating, {see, there is some design talk in this post!} but last night's episode gave the people what they want!! A wrap up of ALL the characters in a season finale. Ah, it was just so good.

I'm gushing I know, but if you haven't watched the show, start now and catch up before season 4...Between the portrayal of New York in the 50's & 60's, the history, the language, the dress & accessories, the etiquette, the decor {and yes, I'm talking about Betty & Don Draper's headboard shown below, just amazing!}...to the characters, their relationships, and how they develop...I swear you'll be hooked!

Clearly I was born in the wrong decade...

  2. I really need to watch this show! On top of being in advertising/graphic designer and a decorator, I really love all the furniture from that time also!!! I will have to get on Netflix- Jen @ Primed4Design

  3. I thought this episode was amazing. I like how they're really taking it to the next level with the new agency, the divorce. And Joan is back! I can't wait for next season.
